New Sourdough-Focused Bakery To Open In Laguna Beach Friday

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — A new business is opening its doors in Laguna Beach, and residents can welcome specialty bakery Rye Goods into the neighborhood starting Friday, May 5.

The Laguna Beach location will be the SoCal-based bakery's third Orange County site, with other locations being in Newport Beach and Tustin.

According to the bakery's website, the menu features a variety of pastries, breads and deli offerings, as well as espresso. The space Rye Goods will operate out of what used to be the home of The Grove on Forest coffeehouse and cafe from 2016-2020.

The organic sourdough bakery will also offer its own natural wine program, the city said.

Rye Goods will open at 7 a.m. every day starting Friday and close at 9 p.m. Sunday through Monday, and 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays at 384 Forest Ave., Suite 4.
