• Bacteria Warning Issued For Laguna Beach Due To Recent Rain: OC Health (patch.com) — Laguna Beach ocean swimmers are being urged to steer clear of water near storm drains, creeks, and rivers after recent rain raised bacteria levels along the coast. County health officials say contamination can linger for at least three days, especially affecting children and older adults, and suggest waiting until about Thursday before returning to the surf.
