Power Outage In North Laguna Beach Affecting Signals, 250+ Customers

Southern California Edison crews are currently responding to a power outage reported in North Laguna that is affecting traffic signals.

LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach drivers, be aware: There is currently a power outage affecting traffic signals in North Laguna, the City of Laguna Beach reported Tuesday.

The power outage was initially reported at 12:02 p.m. Tuesday and was reportedly causing malfunctions in the city's traffic signals, the city said. The outage also affected 269 SoCal Edison customers in Laguna Beach, according to the energy supplier's website.

Drivers were strongly advised to use caution while driving in North Laguna. SoCal Edison estimated that the issue should be resolved by 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
