According to city officials, Caltrans crews will add flashing overhead signs at high visibility crosswalks on Coast Highway at the intersections of Oak Street and Jasmine Street. The construction is being done to enhance pedestrian safety.
One lane will be closed at a time beginning at southbound Jasmine Street, and traffic impacts are likely while crews work from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Residents were urged to find alternative routes while the construction takes place.
