DANA POINT, CA — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Capistrano Unified School District.

The first day of school for most students in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel is Tuesday, Aug. 15.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change. Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Capistrano Unified School District

First Day: Tuesday, Aug. 15.

Thanksgiving Break: Monday, Nov. 20 through Friday, Nov. 24.

Winter Break: Monday, Dec. 25 through Friday, Jan. 5.

Spring Break: Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5.

Last Day: Thursday, May 30.
