The California Wine Festival also holds an event in the fall in Huntington Beach, with the Dana Point event usually held during springtime.

"We are thrilled to be back in Dana Point where guests can enjoy the sunshine and stunning coastal views while sipping delicious wine as live music is playing," Emily Kaufmann, executive director of California Wine Festival, said. "That is what California is all about."

The festival will kick off on April 22 with a "Sunset Rare and Reserve Tasting" featuring "hard-to-find trophy wines," organizers said. A silent auction will be held that evening with proceeds benefitting the Sandy Feet Initiative, an organization that helps siblings of children with special needs.

On April 23, the event will feature the Beachside Wine Festival, a wine tasting event at Sea Terrace Park, organizers said.
