Coast Highway Closure In Dana Point Scheduled For This Week
Dana Point residents were strongly urged to prepare additional routes as the city prepares to close a stretch of the highway.
DANA POINT, CA — Dana Point residents were urged to prepare for a Coast Highway closure coming up this week.
The closure comes as the city plans to perform routine maintenance in preparation for the upcoming storm season. As a result, Coast Highway between Palisades Drive and Camino Capistrano will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 2.
The closure will last from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. or later, the city said.

Residents were advised to plan for alternate routes if possible.
