Dana Point Gas Prices On The Rise Friday — Again
Gas prices are increasing across Orange County. Here's where to find the cheapest gas in Dana Point.
DANA POINT, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Orange County rose for the seventh consecutive day after dropping nine of the previous 10 days to its lowest amount since March 4, increasing 2.8 cents to $5.29.
It has increased 12.2 cents over the past seven days, including 2.4 cents Wednesday.
The Orange County average price is 92.6 cents higher than one year ago but 8.2 cents less than one month ago. It has dropped $1.12 since rising to a record $6.41 on June 12.

In Dana Point, the closest cheap gas can be found on at the Arco Station on Pacific Coast Highway at $5.29 per regular self serve gallon, according to GasBuddy.
The national average price dropped for the 86th consecutive day since rising to a record, falling 1.3 cents to $3.751. It has dropped $1.265 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14.

The national average price is 7.8 cents less than one week ago and 30.8 cents lower than one month ago, but 57 cents more than one year ago.
