Public Aid Sought In Search For Missing South OC Father: How To Help
A south Orange County family is seeking the public's help after a father went missing in Laguna Niguel.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — A south Orange County family sought the public's help this week in finding a 75-year-old man who went missing on Friday, Sept. 12.
John Ryan was last seen leaving his Laguna Niguel home at 11 a.m., according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
"Our family has been living every parent's, child's and spouse's worse nightmare, searching for answers and holding onto hope that we can find him," Daughter Kiley Ryan wrote on the family's GoFundMe account. "Searching for a missing love one comes with unexpected challenges and expenses."

Ryan told Patch that while the authorities are involved in the search, many efforts fall upon loved ones to keep the search active and awareness strong.
