First of Three Superintendent Forums This Year Kicks Off Thursday

Have you met CUSD's new superintendent, Kirsten Vital, yet?

From the Capistrano Unified School District:

Capistrano Unified School District Supt. Kirsten Vital will hold the first in a series of three community forums form 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 at the San Clemente High School Theater, 700 Avenida Pico, San Clemente.

The program is an ideal opportunity for CUSD residents, parents, and other interested stakeholders to meet with and hear from the district’s new superintendent. No RSVP is required.

Along with comments by the superintendent, a short informational video will be shown on the Common Core standards. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to ask questions of the superintendent and other district administrative staff in attendance.

“I encourage parents and other community members to attend this forum,” the superintendent explained. “It is my priority to engage in constructive dialog with all people served by our outstanding school district.”

The superintendent will host a second forum on Jan. 26 at the district office. The final forum for the school year will take place on April 28 at the Aliso Niguel High School Theater. All meetings begin at 7 p.m.
