Free BMX & Skate Event, Live Music This Saturday In Dana Point
The community event is meant to celebrate skate and BMX culture in the heart of Dana Point.
DANA POINT, CA — A very special city event will celebrate skate and BMX culture in Dana Point on Saturday, Aug. 16.
The free family-friendly event — dubbed Ramps & Amps by the city — will feature high-energy demonstrations by professional skate and BMX riders on a massive vert ramp, City Spokesperson Jessica Spaulding said.
In addition, attendees will enjoy a free grom street course for kids and a public street course for adults. Guests were asked to bring their own boards, helmets and pads.

The Ramps & Amps event takes place Saturday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Doheny Village on Domingo Avenue and Sepulveda.
