Glowing 'Jellyfish' SpaceX Launch Lights Up Sky Over Ohana Festival: Video
The giant streak illuminated the sky from Orange County to Phoenix, even making a scene at the annual Ohana Festival in Dana Point.

DANA POINT, CA — The last weekend of September gave some pretty spectacular sights and sounds in Dana Point.
The annual Ohana Festival, organized by famed musician Eddie Vedder, took to the shores of Doheny State Beach from Friday through Sunday. The festival emphasizes community, conservation and music.
The three-day festival came to a close on Sunday with headlining bands Green Day and Cage the Elephant.

In addition, Ohana Festival attendees enjoyed an explosive display in the form of a SpaceX rocket launch during Cage the Elephant's performance.
"Did you guys see that rocket in the sky?" Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day later said of the launch during the band's headline performance. "There go the Epstein files..."

According to Space.com, the rocket was seen just after 7 p.m. and carried 28 new Starlink satellites to join SpaceX's growing wireless internet megaconstellation of over 8,000 networked spacecraft.
According to the website, the launch lifted off from Vandenberg Space Force Station in California. It was seen from Los Angeles to Phoenix, Arizona.
The Falcon 9 rocket supporting the mission reached the upper atmosphere to create a phenomenon referred to as a "jellyfish" effect, according to Space.com.
