Golden Lantern Coffee Roasters Tasting Room Comes To Laguna Hills

LAGUNA HILLS, CA — There is a place where south Orange County can enjoy some of the finest roasted coffee in the county. Golden Lantern Coffee Roasters, previously open for wholesale, is launching their tasting room.

Owners Matt Rosenblum and Misha Mansoor started their business in Rosenblum's garage, according to a report from Daily Coffee News. That business has grown into a new tasting room and a chance to share their love of coffee with South Orange County.

"It started with an idea on the other side of the world," the pair wrote on their Facebook page. "As we ventured, what started as simply searching for a good cup of coffee turned into a ritual of discovering culture, community, and of course caffeine."

Rosenblum and Mansoor say they spent years as "enthusiasts." Their goal was to bring the finest aspects of specialty coffee culture around the world back home to grow with our Southern California community.

Now, the two have grown their coffee roasting business beyond wholesale with the added tasting room.

"When 2021 rolled around we knew it was time to expand our own operation and started building what is now our roastery and tasting room," Rosenblum told Daily Coffee News. The new store has an urban boho vibe, with thrown rugs, industrial modern furniture and on-trend lighting and color scheme.

Together with Kelsey Rosenblum, the business owners designed and built out a space where guests can hang out in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

From the polished concrete floors to the scents of roasting coffee permeating the air from the production roaster next door, this is your new favorite hangout.

The shelves are stocked with mugs, drip coffee pots and more, making this an ideal gift basket shopping spot. Still, it is the drinks they make and the international flavors that inspire them to keep roasting.
