I-5 At PCH Road Hazard: Cardboard Boxes Scattered In Onramp Lanes

California Highway Patrol received numerous reports of cardboard boxes in the onramp lanes near the Pacific Coast Highway Onramp.

DANA POINT, CA — Cardboard boxes scattered in the roadway created a nuisance for drivers at the Pacific Coast Highway eastbound onramp to I-5 Tuesday morning, CHP said.

Just after 10 a.m., California Highway Patrol received numerous reports of the boxes scattered in the roadway. There was no immediate timeline on when workers would arrive to clear the road.

Until then, drivers should use caution when approaching the area.
