Laguna Niguel Regional Park To Host Run4Water 2022 This Weekend
The 5K run/1K walk is part of a fundraising effort by Wells of Life to help build and restore water wells in rural Uganda.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — Runners and walkers can race for a good cause Saturday when the Wells of Life Run4Water 5K run/1K walk heads to Laguna Niguel Regional Park.
Registration for the run and walk will start at 8 a.m., with the race kicking off at 9 a.m. Race officials said a post-race program will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
In-person registration is $40, while the virtual race is $20.

Around 450 participants are expected to run or walk, the Irvine-based organization said.
Wells of Life said it hopes to raise at least $200,000 this weekend to help restore 50 water wells in rural Uganda. The water wells would be able to provide clean water to 50,000 people if restored.
