South OC Actress Debuts Voice-Acting Chops In New 'Wednesday' Commercial
The south Orange County native voices the new Wendy's "Wednesday" commercial that premiered Aug. 4.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA — A south Orange County actress is making an impact in the world of television, after Kayden Tokarski was selected to narrate a new Wendy's commercial that premiered Aug. 4.
Tokarski, best known for her portrayal as a young Julia Roberts in the limited series "Gaslit," portrays Wednesday in the commercial and voices the popular show's character played by Jenna Ortega.
"I'm a huge fan of both Wendy's and 'Wednesday,' so this was such an honor to be a part of," Tokarski told Patch. "I'm so grateful to Netflix and Wendy's for the chance to bring such an iconic character to life in this spot."

The commercial is meant to promote both the Netflix series and the new "Meal of Misfortune," a collaboration project between Wendy's and Netflix.
The limited-time "Meal of Misfortune" is centered around four mystery sauces called the "Dips of Dread" along with "Rest in 10-piece" nuggets, small "Cursed & Crispy" fries and a new Frosty flavor called "Raven's Blood."

The commercial comes on the heels of a Red Lobster commercial starring Tokarski and Joey Fatone, as well as LA Clippers and Subaru commercials
Tokarski is a notable Orange County-based actor recognized for a number of roles, including her portrayal of a young Julia Roberts in the Starz original TV series "Gaslit." Her filmography includes "Love's Fast Lane" on Peacock; "My Professor's Deadly Secret" and "Killer in the Woods" (formerly "Mama Bear") on Lifetime; "My Melancholy Baby" on Amazon Prime and "Roswell Delirium" on Apple TV.
