Toys Urgently Needed In Dana Point For Spark Of Love Toy Drive

The Spark of Love Toy Drive is back, and Orange County firefighters are urging to public to bring donations for children in need.

DANA POINT, CA — The Spark of Love Toy Drive is back, bringing toys to thousands of children in Orange County — including in Dana Point.

The annual drive, organized by the Orange County Fire Authority, collected over 34,000 toys for children in need in 2024.

Dana Point residents can donate new, unwrapped toys at all 78 OCFA fire stations starting Monday, Nov. 24, through Wednesday, Dec. 24. Clothes and blankets will not be accepted as donations, firefighters said.

In addition, OCFA and KWAVE will host several toy collection events throughout Orange County.

  • Saturday, Dec. 6 — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Walmart — 951 Avenida Pico, San Clemente.
  • Friday, Dec. 12 — 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Walmart Supercenter, 26502 Foothill Ranch.
