DANA POINT, CA — Looking for a free community event to get you into the Christmas spirit?
The City of Dana Point is hosting a tree lighting in Pines Park on Monday, Dec. 8.
At the event, residents can expect to see Santa Claus and his elves, who will roll into Pines Park on the Jolly Trolley to hand up pre-packaged treats for kids up to 12.

Residents will also enjoy festive carolers, hot chocolate, cookies and a tree lighting at 5:15 p.m.
Attendees were also encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to support the city's community drive.
