16-Year-Old Boy Killed In Corona Crash
The child, who was in the crash vehicle with other teens, died at the scene.
CORONA, CA — Authorities Wednesday identified a 16-year-old boy who was killed when the vehicle he was in with two other teens overturned in Corona.
The Riverside County coroner's office identified him as Noel Martinez of Corona.
Officers responded to the intersection of El Sobrante Road and Circle City Drive around 8:35 a.m. Monday and located the driver and two passengers, who were 16 and 17 years old, in the vehicle that had overturned, according to Corona Police Department public information officer Cpl. Tobias Kouroubacalis.

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver and another passenger suffered moderate injuries and were hospitalized in stable condition, Kouroubacalis said.
The accident is being investigated by the Corona Police Department's Collision Response Team. It is not known if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors of the fatal collision.

The names of the other two juveniles were not disclosed.
