5 People Displaced By House Fire In Riverside County

MORENO VALLEY, CA —Five adults were displaced by a residential fire in Moreno Valley Sunday, the Riverside County Fire Department announced.

The fire was reported around 11:20 a.m. Sunday in the 15400 block of Via Rio where a two-story single-family residence was burning in heavy flames and smoke, according to the fire department.

The fire was extinguished shortly after firefighters arrived.

The American Red Cross was requested to assist the five adults displaced by the fire.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
