An ATV rider was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday evening in the unincorporated Mead Valley area near Perris.
PERRIS, CA — An ATV rider was killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday evening in the unincorporated Mead Valley area near Perris.
The crash occurred about 8 p.m. in the 20700 block of Myron Street, near Mead Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The ATV rider died at the scene before the arrival of paramedics, the department said.

The victim was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the California Highway Patrol said.
A description of the suspect vehicle, which the CHP said was last seen headed eastbound on Myron Street toward Brown Street, was not immediately available.
