Visalia Rawhide jump out to an early 11-6 lead as the Storm scored 2 runs in the 8th fall short 11-10

Willauer-Contributing Writer-Storm Stadium-Lake Elsinore, CA: In a California League contest that was played at Storm Stadium on Saturday, August 14, the Visalia Rawhide (Single A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) scored 6 runs in the 1st, 2 in the 4th, 3 runs in the 7th before the home team Lake Elsinore Storm (San Diego Padres Single A Affiliate) scored 2 runs in the 8th and 9th as they defeated the Storm by an 11-10 score.

Justin Mendez was the winner at 1-1 for the Rawhide as he pitched 2.2 innings with 4 strikeouts. Jairo Inarte is the loser at 0-2 pitched 1 inning and struck out 3 batters.
