Boy, 7, Found In Home Of Alleged Riverside Drug Dealer
Two illegal assault weapons were also found in the home of the suspect.
RIVERSIDE, CA -- A boy was taken into protective custody this week after he was found in the home of an alleged Riverside County drug dealer. Police said they served a search warrant to a home in the 9300 block of Shamouti Drive in the city of Riverside after receiving information about drug sales.
During the search, detectives found firearms, including two illegal assault weapons, and a variety of drugs, including LSD, cocaine, psilocybin, Xanax pills, Norco and Tramadol pills and Fentanyl, police said.
Police arrested Timothy Werley, 24, of Riverside, following the search. He was booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for possession of illegal narcotics for sales, weapons violations, an outstanding felony warrant, and child endangerment.

The boy, 7, was staying at the house and had access to the narcotics and firearms. The County of Riverside Child Protective Services was contacted and assisted with the investigation, eventually removing the child from this potentially dangerous situation, police said.
