Brush Fire Burns In Cleveland National Forest Above Corona
The blaze was reported Tuesday afternoon off Skyline Drive, near Tin Mine Canyon, according to the Corona Fire Department.
CORONA, CA — A brush fire that erupted Tuesday in the Cleveland National Forest south of Corona burned roughly a half-acre on a hillside before it was contained.
The non-injury blaze was reported about 12:30 p.m. off of Skyline Drive, near Tin Mine Canyon, according to the Corona Fire Department.
Multiple engine crews from the city and Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department were sent to the location, encountering difficulties finding access to the terrain where the blaze was located.

Officials reported that the brusher was moving upslope at a slow rate, not threatening any structures.
Crews encircled the fire within an hour, containing it.
