Concerns About Violence At Lakeside High School Unfounded
"Extra safety precautions were taken to ensure the safety of the students, staff and residents of Lake Elsinore," the sheriff's dept. said.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Reports from several concerned citizens about a social media post threatening potential violence at Lakeside High School prompted a sheriff's department investigation this week. But after search warrants were served, investigators determined there were no viable threats made toward the campus, authorities announced.
The investigation began around 10 p.m. Wednesday when deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station received information from community members about the alleged threat, the details of which were not released. With the assistance of the Lake Elsinore Unified School District, several search warrants for electronic data were served, according to the sheriff's department.
After conducting the police work, investigators found no threats were made toward the school, the sheriff's department reported.
