Coroner IDs Man, 36, Killed In Lake Elsinore Motorcycle Crash
The Riverside County coroner's office Saturday identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a vehicle on Ortega Highway.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — The Riverside County coroner's office Saturday identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a vehicle on westbound Ortega (74) Highway in Lake Elsinore.
The collision occurred just west of El Cariso Road at about 6 p.m. Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Marcos Murrieta, 36, of Menifee was pronounced dead at the scene.

The CHP said that Murrieta lost control of his motorcycle at a curve while traveling at a high speed and crossed into the other side of the highway.
He slammed into an oncoming Toyota Prius and was ejected from the motorcycle upon impact, landing in a dirt shoulder, according to the CHP.

No arrests were made and the CHP was investigating the crash.
