CHINO HILLS, CA— One person died in a three-vehicle collision on state Route 71 in Chino Hills, the California Highway Patrol said Friday.

Shortly after 11 p.m., CHP officers arrived at the Euclid Avenue off-ramp of the southbound 71 to find the victim in one of the middle lanes, the Riverside CHP reported.

The victim, whose name, age, and gender were not immediately released pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision closed all lanes of the state route for several hours.
