Domestic Altercation Turns Fatal In Norco

A 31-year-old woman was booked on suspicion of murder. She is accused of killing a 57-year-old man with her vehicle.

NORCO, CA — A woman suspected of running down a man with her vehicle in a domestic altercation remained behind bars Wednesday on suspicion of murder.

Aubrey McGee, 31, of Riverside was being held in lieu of $1 million bail at Riverside's Robert Presley Detention Center, jail records show.

McGee was arrested just after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday after deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the 1200 block of Hamner Avenue in Norco regarding a parking lot incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

At the scene, they found an injured man, later identified as 57-year-old Riverside resident Bahman Nowrozi.

Nowrozi was sent to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

McGee was determined to be the driver who struck Nowrozi. What led up to the incident and what the relationship, if any, was between McGee and Nowrozi are unclear. Court records show McGee has no documented felony convictions in Riverside County.

Editor's note: The sheriff's department initially reported McGee's age as 34, however jail records indicate she is 31.
