Ducklings Cause 15 Freeway Traffic Jam In Corona

Motorists were slowing to avoid hitting the baby birds.

CORONA, CA — A duck and ducklings have jammed traffic Friday afternoon on Interstate 15 in Corona.

The animals were last reported in the center divide at Weirick Road, and vehicles were slowing to avoid hitting them, according to the California Highway Patrol.

As of 4:25 p.m., southbound traffic was backed up to the 91 freeway.

It's not clear whether any of the creatures have made it safely off the interstate.
