Firefighters Contain Fire Inside Strip Mall In RivCo
Fire crews extinguished several hot spots and heavy smoke throughout the commercial structure.

JURUPA VALLEY, CA — Firefighters contained a fire inside a business at a single-story strip mall in Jurupa Valley, authorities said.
The non-injury fire was reported at 3:45 p.m. Friday in the 5500 block of Mission Boulevard, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Fire crews extinguished several hot spots and heavy smoke throughout the commercial structure, and firefighters remained at the scene for an additional hour for mop-up work, officials said.

The Riverside Fire Department and San Bernardino Fire Department were requested to assist at the scene.
Mission Boulevard was closed westbound between Rubidoux Boulevard and Mintern Street.
The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
