Gas Price Near Elsinore Drops To Lowest Amount Since Last Jan.
Average prices are at the lowest amount since Jan. 25, 2018.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Friday to its lowest amount since Jan. 25, falling two-tenths of a cent to $3.249, the seventh decrease in nine days.
The average price has dropped 4.5 cents over the past nine days, including 1.1 cents on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price is 3.8 cents less than one week ago and 17.8 cents lower than one month ago but 12.6 cents higher than one year ago.

A major West Coast refiner "sold off excess supply on the `spot' market where retail locations buy gasoline to resell" which "is likely to continue the downward pressure on Southern California pump prices," said Jeffrey Spring, the Automobile Club of Southern California's corporate communications manager, citing a report from the Oil Price Information Service Thursday morning.
