Ghost Guns, Ammo, Drugs Seized During Lakeland Village Search Warrant

LAKELAND VILLAGE, CA — A weapons and drug stash were uncovered Thursday when authorities raided a Lakeland Village property, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department announced.
The Lake Elsinore Special Enforcement Team and Gang Task Force Region, along with a K-9 team, served a narcotics-related search warrant in the 33000 block of Adelfa Street and found 2.1 pounds of fentanyl, 927 M30 pills, 1 pound of methamphetamine and 15 grams of cocaine, according to the sheriff's department.
Authorities also reported finding three non-serialized handguns, one high-capacity rifle, a silencer, four extended magazines, 120 rounds of various ammunition, and over $120,000 in cash.

At the scene, deputies arrested Paul Rudy Puga, 52, of Lake Elsinore. He was booked into the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of felon in possession of a firearm, felon in possession of ammunition, possession of fentanyl for sale, possession of narcotics for sale, possession of a silencer, concealing controlled substances in a false compartment and bringing narcotics into the jail.
