Hit-And-Run Driver In SUV Hits Car, Pedestrians In Mead Valley

A black SUV that had been driving recklessly with multiple near-misses hit a white sedan around 3:30 p.m.

PERRIS (CNS) - A hit-and-run driver crashed into at least one other vehicle and two pedestrians Sunday in the unincorporated area of Mead Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A black SUV that had been driving recklessly with multiple near-misses hit a white sedan about 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Cajalco Road and Seaton Avenue, the CHP said.

A CHP dispatcher reported that a person in the white sedan was injured.

A few minutes later, the SUV struck two female pedestrians, according to the CHP. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.

The suspect then fled southeast to Patterson Avenue just north of Rider Street and was being trailed by Riverside County sheriff's deputies, the CHP said.
