Homeless Camp's Outbuilding Leveled By Fire Overnight In Perris
Many fires have ignited there in recent days, officials say.

PERRIS, CA — An outbuilding was burned to the ground Monday in a transient encampment just west of Perris, where several fires have occurred in recent days.
The non-injury blaze was reported at 4 p.m. in the 23000 block of Cajalco Road, just east of Seaton Avenue, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
Multiple engine crews were sent to the location and discovered an outbuilding consumed by flames, the department reported.

Firefighters were unable to save the small structure but prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent ones, according to reports from the scene.
The blaze was knocked down within 20 minutes.

Firefighters were sent to at least two other minor fires in the same location over the last week, a department official said.
No injuries were reported.
It was unclear whether the blazes were intentionally ignited.
An investigation into the causes of the fires was underway.
