I-15 Caltrans Street Sweeping May Cause Traffic Delays Next Week: What To Know
Freeway drivers, be advised: maintenance workers will intermittently block lanes on I-15, both northbound and southbound, starting Monday.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has issued a public alert that Corona Maintenance crews will intermittently block I-15 freeway lanes, both northbound and southbound, Monday through Thursday next week.
"Caltrans will perform routine sweeping operations on Interstate 15 (I-15) from Lake Elsinore to Eastvale. Weather permitting," they said, and next week the weather appears to be all clear of rain.
Work will begin Monday, January 12th, and run through Thursday, January 15th, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The following is planned work and alternating closure locations:
- Northbound and Southbound I-15
- Right Shoulders and Center Median
- from Nichols Rd. to Philadelphia Ave.
In Southwestern Riverside County, work will begin just north of the State Route -74 in Lake Elsinore, to Eastvale, just south of I-10.
