Temescal Canyon Spotlight Players Perform 'Night Of The Living Dead'
The story of the undead premiers this week on stage at Lake Elsinore's Temescal Canyon High School.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA —Temescal Canyon's High School Drama department, the TCHS Spotlight Players, are putting on a Halloween-themed show this week in Lake Elsinore. For five showings, the students will offer their rendition of the classic horror flick.
The curtain for the fall drama show's opening night rises at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20. The show runs four more nights: Saturday, Oct. 21; Thursday, Oct. 26; Friday, Oct. 27; Saturday, Oct. 28.

The cast will use their movie-makeup magic to transform into zombies in the theme of the original "Night of the Living Dead" feature film.

According to IMDB, the film, written by John A. Russo and George A. Romero, directed by George A. Romero, follows "a ragtag group of survivors barricade themselves in an old farmhouse to remain safe from a horde of flesh-eating ghouls that are ravaging the Northeast portion of the United States."
