Lake Elsinore Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Minor Arrested

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A 28-year-old Lake Elsinore man was arrested in connection with the sexual assault of a juvenile, sheriff's officials said.

Cristian Javier Ramirez was arrested at around 10 a.m. Friday as he was leaving his home near Central and Central avenues, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Investigators said the sexual assault occurred at a residence in the 39000 Block of Ardenwood Way, but no other information was released.

Ramirez was booked into the Murrieta Southwest Justice Center on suspicion of rape, unlawful sex with a minor and lewd and lascivious acts with a child, according to jail records.

Deputies secured a bail enhancement and Ramirez remained behind bars on $1 million bail.
