Lake Elsinore Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Selling Narcotics

Deputies seized around 120 grams of fentanyl, 200 grams of methamphetamine, 61 grams of heroin, 217 Xanax pills and 42 oxycodone pills.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A 34-year-old Lake Elsinore man remained under arrest Saturday on suspicion of selling narcotics in Riverside County.

Deputies received information regarding someone selling narcotics in Lake Elsinore and Wildomar in November 2023 and launched an investigation during which Mauricio Hernandez-Estrada was identified as the suspect.

Deputies arrested Hernandez-Estrada on three separate occasions on suspicion of violations related to the sales of narcotics, according to Sgt. Jarrod Meissen, but it was unknown why he was released each time.

Deputies collaborated with members of the Inland Violent Crime Suppression Task Force and obtained a federal indictment for Hernandez-Estrada. On Thursday, he was arrested. Deputies allegedly found evidence of possession with the intent to distribute narcotics.
