Lake Elsinore Site Support Employee Of The Year Named For 2025
Providing social-emotional learning support, Jennifer Carmargo of Menifee was named this year's Site Support Employee of the Year.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA —A Lake Elsinore Unified School District employee was named among the final group of 2025 Riverside County Educators of the Year, according to the Riverside County Office of Education.
Jennifer Camargo, Social-Emotional Learning Support Provider at Lake Elsinore Unified School District, was awarded the Riverside County Site Support Employee of the Year, according to a recent news release.
Camargo, a Menifee resident, supports Collier and Wildomar Elementary Schools in the Lake Elsinore Unified School District. She holds a bachelor's degree in criminal justice administration and a master's in education. Her colleagues describe her as having "patience, empathy and persistence."

"She has enabled countless students to thrive, even in the face of adversity," and "beyond her technical expertise, she is known for her problem-solving, thoughtfulness, positivity and dedication to the mission of education," according to an Office of Education news release.
She works with teachers, administrators, and playground staff to ensure every child feels "valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their full potential," Dr. Edwin Gomez said of Camargo during a news conference.

"All of our 2025 Educators of the Year exemplify what it takes to serve the needs of students and families in our public schools,” said Riverside County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Edwin Gomez. “Ensuring the success of students inside the classroom and on their journey to become healthy, productive citizens in their community requires a team approach. From school counselors and classified staff members to teachers and administrators, we are excited to honor that collaboration and commitment with every surprise visit and award.”
Of the award, she said: “I love my job, I love my team and all the opportunities that being in it has provided to me. Thank you. Thank you."
All honorees will be recognized at the 2025 Celebrating Educators Luncheon set for May 13, at the Riverside Convention Center.
