'Man With Gun' Prompts School Lockdown In Southwest Riverside
The suspect was seen on campus grounds with a gun, police said.

MENIFEE, CA -- A man suspected of having a gun on campus grounds prompted a lockdown at Mesa View Elementary School this week. Police said Mark Delarosa, 35 of Romoland, was on campus around 12:38 p.m. Tuesday with a gun.
The report prompted a brief lockdown at the school as a precautionary measure. Nearby Romoland Elementary School in Romoland also issued a lockdown, police said.
Delarosa was taken into custody and arrested for being in possession of a weapon on school grounds, police said.

No one was injured during the incident, police said. The investigation is ongoing.
