Man Killed In Early Morning Crash Near I-15 In Lake Elsinore
Riverside County deputies are investigating the death of the 42-year-old man.
LAKE ELSINORE, CA — A Jurupa Valley man died early Thursday following a single-vehicle collision near the Interstate 15 northbound onramp in Lake Elsinore, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Andres Virgen, 42, was fatally injured when his vehicle crashed at the intersection of Main Street and the I-15 northbound onramp.
Deputies arrived and found Virgen with significant injuries at 3:31 a.m. He was pronounced dead just six minutes later at 3:37 a.m., the department reported.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department's Lake Elsinore station is leading the investigation. Police haven't determined whether alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
