Motorcyclist Airlifted To Hospital After Lake Elsinore Crash

The motorcycle had gone over the roadway when firefighters arrived, officials said.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA A motorcyclist was airlifted to a local hospital with moderate injuries Friday afternoon after going over the side of a remote roadway in the unincorporated area of Lake Elsinore, authorities said.

The crash was reported at 12:48 p.m. along the 33000 block of South Main Divide Road. According to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department, firefighters arrived on the scene to find a motorcycle off the roadway and a solo rider in need of rescue.

The rider was hoisted by helicopter from the scene and flown to a nearby hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
