Motorcycle Rider Killed In Menifee Crash ID'd
A motorcyclist who died after he crashed into a light pole in Menifee was identified as a 28-year-old resident of the city.
MENIFEE, CA — A Harley Davidson motorcycle rider who died after he crashed into a light pole in Menifee was identified Sunday as a 28-year-old resident of the city.
Sean Weaver died at 9:13 p.m. Saturday on Menifee Road, north of Bayport Lane. Weaver struck a curb and lost control and was found by officers and paramedics on the shoulder of the road, according to the Menifee Police Department.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the Harley Davidson caught on fire, which spread to some nearby vegetation, but the fire was contained at 9:24 p.m.

Public Works personnel were called to the scene to asses the damage to the light pole.
The cause of the collision and the speed of the motorcycle was still under investigation.
