Motorcyclist Killed In 91 Freeway Crash ID'd By Coroner

RIVERSIDE, CA — A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a tractor-trailer on the Riverside (91) Freeway, authorities said Wednesday.

Christian Dominguez of Riverside was fatally injured at about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday on the westbound 91, just east of Central Avenue in Riverside, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The agency said the victim impacted a semi in the No. 3 lane, but no other details were available.

Riverside Fire Department crews reached the location within 10 minutes and pronounced Dominguez dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

Several freeway lanes were closed because of the fatality. The closures were lifted roughly three hours later.

The investigation is ongoing.
