Northbound I-15 Jammed After Motorcyclist Goes Down In Lanes

CORONA, CA — A motorcyclist was down in northbound Interstate 15 lanes Wednesday morning in Corona after apparently smashing at high speed into the back of a pickup truck.

According to preliminary information from the California Highway Patrol's CAD system, the crash occurred 6:40 a.m. just south of Magnolia Avenue near the state Route 91 interchange.

The extent of injuries to the rider was not available.

The CHP reported that all lanes were cleared by 7:23 a.m., although traffic was jammed for miles due to the incident, adding to the usual morning rush-hour slowing through the area.
