Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Motorist In Mead Valley

MEAD VALLEY, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Wednesday morning in an unincorporated area of Perris.

The fatality was reported at 8:46 a.m. in the 23300 block of Cajalco Road in Mead Valley, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

When fire crews arrived at the scene, the victim was pronounced dead.

Law enforcement is investigating the incident.

There was no word on the driver.
