Person Falls From 15 Freeway Bridge Into Santa Ana Riverbed

The patient, who suffered moderate injuries, was rescued from the riverbed in Norco.

NORCO, CA — A person suffered moderate injuries Saturday evening after falling from the 15 Freeway bridge into the Santa Ana Riverbed in Norco.

The 25- to 30-foot fall was reported at 6:27 p.m. Saturday, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.

Firefighters rescued the injured person from the riverbed. The patient was sent to a local hospital but an update was unavailable.
