Woman Struck And Killed On 215 Freeway In Perris

A witness said a man was asking for help because his wife was hit as she ran into the roadway.

PERRIS, CA — A 31-year-old woman who was killed Monday morning when she was struck by a single-vehicle on the Escondido (215) Freeway in Perris has been identified.

The crash was reported about 3 a.m. Monday on the southbound 215 north of Nuevo Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Christanne Banks, of Hemet, was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
