1 Dead In 2-Alarm Apartment Fire Thursday Night: OCFA
One person was found dead inside an apartment complex in Lake Forest after firefighters quelled the two-alarm blaze.

LAKE FOREST, CA — One person was found dead inside an apartment complex in Lake Forest after firefighters extinguished a two-alarm blaze, the Orange County Fire Authority reported.
Firefighters were dispatched at 11:01 p.m. Thursday after receiving multiple 911 calls for a fire burning at an apartment complex in the 21000 block of Camelia Drive.
Upon arrival, firefighters found flames threatening surrounding apartment units, authorities said.

A second alarm was requested as firefighters attacked the fire and began a search for residents. During their search, firefighters found one of the occupants dead inside a unit.
Fire crews were able to prevent the blaze from extending to the other parts of the building, authorities said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and investigators from the OCFA are at the scene and working with Orange County Sheriff's Department personnel about the cause of the fire.
