'Clean Lake Forest' Trash Pickup Event Scheduled For June
Lake Forest officials are seeking volunteers to help beautify the city's streets, parks and trails next month.
LAKE FOREST, CA — Clean Lake Forest will hold a community clean-up event at the end of June to help beautify the city's neighborhoods and roadsides.
The clean-up event will be on June 25, from 8 to 11 a.m., and will feature volunteers scouring neighborhoods and parks around the city for litter to pick up, city officials said. Clean-up options include city parks, trails or streets.
Volunteers will check in at Pittsford Park at 8 a.m. and drive themselves to the clean-up location they've chosen after checking in at the park. The city will provide volunteers with bags, gloves and trash pickers during check-in, Lake Forest officials said.
